2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

i did not intend to buy and pulled into Nissan of Gadsden on a whim. I was trying to get an idea of a good used quality car with good gas mileage, because I drive around 800 miles a week. 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara review

Great Vehicle

My Wrangler has the 2.0T engine and gets an average of 23 mpg. No issues mechanically at 52,000 miles; it drives like a Jeep-which makes sense. The interior is stylish and comfortable; AC and heat work just fine for Upstate SC climate. The soft top is easy to flip up and total removal isn't that much more trouble. Radio is great, media mode has a slight lag but stays connected once paired each time you use it-it doesn't automatically connect Bluetooth. The only knock I would have is that the USB or USB-C causes the entire radio to short out periodically. I love my Jeep!

2022 Kia EV6 Wind review

Awesome vehicle

I’ve put 90,000 miles on my EV-6 GT-Line RWD in a little over 16 months in a rideshare role. No mechanical problems. No software problems. No battery life problems. It is an awesome machine on the outside but at its core, elegantly simple to drive and maintain. My biggest complaint? The AC/radio control panel is too small. Double check when you poke the panel to make sure you didn’t turn the wrong thing on/off.Things I’ve learned and how to overcome them:-USE MAX REGENERATIVE BRAKING. It can add north of 20% extra range in stop and go city driving. If you are racing, turn it off… but do you really race? It feels a little strange - ok, so did weightlessness to Apollo astronauts - get over it, it’s part of EV driving.-Yes, the battery does not like cold. Range is reduced by 30-40% below 30 degrees F. This is consistent with all EVs. If “battery preconditioning” does not appear in the EV page of the master menu (select EV, then select setup cog) get your dealer to upgrade your software. Learn how to use.-Yes, it is a challenge to find chargers. Download PlugShare app for help locating chargers and buy a Tesla charger to J1772 adapter for charging emergencies and keep in the frunk.-If you keep turning on seat fans/seat heat by accident, pull the fuse for seat heat.-If you plan to charge at night, bring a flashlight, because someone forgot to illuminate the charging port (light goes right in your eyes).-If you stow things under the trunk floor, pool noodles will keep stuff from rolling and banging around.-Be aware that just like your gas car, the 12V battery can run out if you leave things on, and that you cannot start the car with a 12V battery that is too low. I had to call AAA once for a jump start to get the EV running. Once on, the big battery charges the 12V battery, buy a little 12V jump start gadget and keep in the trunk under the floor, just in case.Now, go get one and have fun.

Love the Tiguan S, except for the spound system.

This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

We have owned our 22’ Palisade for 2 years now and have had some issues but nothing to major. The biggest thing was when it was at the dealership for a cracked radiator. After reading online it was more common than I thought and was happening to other Palisade owners. The only other complaint that I really have is an SUV at this price should have power folding mirrors and have less road noise. Would I buy another one? I’m not sure how to answer that I think it would have been a better investment to go with a Toyota 4Runner.

2018 Lexus RX 350

Bought 2018 Lexus RX 350 used in February of 2022. It was 3.5 years old at that time and had only 24k miles. Paid $32,660 and then 8% taxes (NY State). When it was new it was over $61K. The paperwork was inside the glove compartment. It is a comfortable and powerful car. It has all available options, apart from heated and electric back seats, which I don’t need. I am glad they not electric. It is much faster to put them down by hand. The gas mileage in the city is not great, 16 miles per gallon, but it is great on a highway. When I drive by myself on a highway I get 28 miles per gallon. Mark Levinson sound system and head-up display are great. I upgraded and installed integrated video camera to record everything and added wireless Apple car play and android auto. Installed both myself. It was easy. In these almost two years of driving I put only 10,000. Of course with only 34,000 miles I don’t have any issues. I change oil every 5,000 and that is it. I plan on keeping this car as long as it works. Most likely 20+ more years. I wish the gas mileage was better in the city, but it is what it is. This car is the best on a highway. You don’t feel tired and don’t feel any stress when you are on a highway. It feels like as if I am sitting home on my couch. In heavy traffic on a highway I turn on adaptive cruise and lane keep assist. and let car drive itself - it is fun and relaxing. It gives me time to relax. I love my car.

We own this vehicle , it currently has 70,000 kms . We have had zero issues with it . The only fault of ford is that you have to pay to have new gps software installed and it won’t update automatically with wifi . The neighbourhood we live in is brand new so we needed to connect our phones to find anything when we moved here in 2019 .
