I am excited to share that, as of last week, I started a new position at HelloFresh Benelux B.V. as an influencer marketing intern. As a person who has a huge love for food and communications, I am grateful for getting the opportunity to make my first steps in the work field at HelloFresh. In the upcoming period, I will be managing paid and unpaid influencers/ agencies. Last week, I was invited as a communication student to join a brainstorming session about the current communication and relations within de Zorgschakel (a meeting point for adults and the elderly in Sint Hubert). With the guidance of team Sportief, we brainstormed about several segments of the business model canvas. It was a very insightful meeting and I would like to thank Team Sportief and de Zorgschakel for inviting me and giving me the opportunity to help out!#bmc #volunteer #communication

*Succesfully finished my journey in Taiwan!*I am very proud to announce that I managed to get 2nd place in the final competition of the international innovation and entrepreneur leadership experience program and therefore successfully finished the program at Chung Yuan Christian University!It has already been a couple of weeks since my journey in Taiwan has come to an end, but I am looking back at the past month with a smile. This journey brought me a lot of struggles, memories, lessons, and new connections. When I signed up for this opportunity I had no idea what was waiting for me. I flew out to Taoyuan with a lot of excitement and ambition. Wanting to know what it is like to live in a new environment in a completely different culture and to meet new people was my main goal. Besides reaching my goal of meeting new people and exploring a new culture, many other lessons and insights came along my way. For three weeks long I worked hard on creating a start-up together with my teammates. I learned way more about business than I would have expected. I am very grateful for all the guest lectures with whom I had very insightful conversations and got great feedback from all the time. Even though the classes were very educational I learned the most from leading my group and working with a huge language barrier. My English was challenged a lot by having to communicate with native Chinese students. With having to face this hardship I am even more proud of successfully finishing this program and achieving 2nd place!For now, I look forward to the next chapter starting in September: an internship at HelloFresh #business #entrepreneurship #leadership #interculturalcommunication

Over the past week, I started a project at Chung Yuan Christian University with international students in which we will be creating our own startup. We decided to focus on fast fashion and how to improve sustainability in the fashion industry. To get to know the startup field a bit better, we visited Startup Terrace in New Taipei City. During this day we heard great presentations from business starters and employees from Startup Terrace. I want to thank the employees from Startup Terrace and the lecturers from CYCU for this insightful trip. Currently, we are busy setting up our startup. I am proud to announce that I have started the international innovation & entrepreneur leadership experience program at Chung Yuan Christian University. In the upcoming month, I will be working on creating a startup connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. I will be working together with students from different majors and with different nationalities. Through this program, we are working on skills like intercultural, language exchange, business, and entrepreneurial skills. We will learn through project classes, lectures, company visits, and cultural trips. I look forward to diving into the business field and expanding my leadership skills. #CYCU #business #Leadership #startup #studyabroad

I am excited to share that I completed the Spanish language workshops (A1 level) provided by Fontys Talent Academy!I always had an interest in learning new languages and in this last semester I started working on it. I joined the Spanish workshops offered by Fontys. Together with several other students I worked on several aspects such as writing, speaking and getting to know the Spanish culture. In the end, I managed to pass the final oral exam. These workshops were a great start of my language learning journey and I look forward to continuing it.
